Nan describes her work as "Spiritual art in motion". A Phoenix based, self taught artist best known for her mystical, elongated Indian figures on magical, flowing poured acrylic backgrounds. Nan was born in Philadelphia, PA but lived many years in Ohio where she married and raised two sons. It was in 1980 that her long time dream to live in Southwest came true. It was her that she connected with a profound Indian spirit and found herself speaking to it through her pantings.
